I wasn't sure what traveling by myself would be like but I enjoyed it immensely. I figured I would get lonely and easily bored but that was not the case. Having the freedom to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted was fantastic. If I was feeling tired I could slow down or even return to my room for a quick nap. And on the flip side of that, being by myself meant there was no one to slow me down if they were tired. Everything was at my own pace. I had no set itinerary, the only definite was my flight from Bangkok to Saigon this morning.
Additionally, I found out that people are much more willing to approach you and start a conversation if you are alone (not in a creepy stalkerish way). I met so many cool people– it was awesome! And whats best about traveling is that if you figure out you aren't that compatible you can just say goodbye to them and go your separate ways. But, most the people I met I didn't have to do that! It was a wonderful, wonderful two weeks. And now for a little teaser (in no particular order):
